Our Story

As told by Hannah

I had just moved to Lexington, KY from Boston, MA when I matched with Richie on Tinder. He wasn't smiling in any of his profile photos but he seemed outdoorsy so I told my best friend Bria that I thought we'd be good friends but probably nothing more. Ha! We traveled, we hiked, we talked, we laughed, we cried and before I knew it he was my best friend.

Richie is resilient and kind and a deep thinker. He drives me a little crazy but most of all, Richie knows the most intimate details of my heart, good and bad, and loves me even still. I'm not marrying Richie because I love him. I'm marrying him because he is a wonderful, loving, supportive partner and I am excited to continue building our lives together.

As told by Richie

I knew things were a bit different with Hannah when I met her at Mirror Twin (a beer/pizza spot here in Lexington) for our first date. She seemed very outdoorsy and I knew she had many stories to tell and many adventures that i was eager to hear about. She even brought along Kai (her right hand pup) on the first date and when it started raining we were the only ones to stay outside and continue chatting as if all was good with the world... that's because it was.

We soon began spending time together sharing our life stories, laughing, crying, smiling goofily at each other and really opening up to one another. Revealing the most intimate parts of ourselves. Hannah is my biggest inspiration and she pushed me everyday. She is a loving, caring, supportive partner and I absolutely have a corny smile while writing this because I'm so happy to continue on this journey together. Building our lives together.
